Narva Investment Passport

As of late, Narva City Government is actively creating good conditions for developing entrepreneurship. Business support includes the following services:

1. Co-financing of projects of start-up companies

Start-up businesses can apply for co-financing of the projects that have received a grant from other sources (funds, programmes, etc) up to 25% of the total cost of the project, but not exceeding 3 195,58 EUR.

2. Employers creating minimum 10 new jobs can apply for the following support measures:

Monetary support for creating new jobs for inhabitants of Narva. Up to 50% of the additional natural person’s income tax in the first and second year of the project.

Reimbursement of increased rates on heating and water services (water supply and sewage). Up to 20% from additional natural persons’ income tax during the first year of the project, up to 30% during the second, third, fourth and fifth years of the project.

Reimbursement of consulting/mentoring services.

320 EUR/per month (50-99 new jobs),

511 EUR/per month (100 – 149 new jobs),

767 EUR/per month (more than 150 new jobs) during three years.

Specific financial support allocation is dependent on the receipt of additional natural persons’ income tax into the Narva City Government budget as a result of creating new jobs.

3. Trade fair grant

The maximum amount of the grant for participating at one trade fair is 50% of the eligible costs incurred, but not exceeding 1 597,79 EUR.
