Information about transportation system

Narva is a very important transit point between Russia and the countries of Western Europe. The arterial road of European importance (E20) runs through the city as well as the railroad from Tallinn to Saint-Petersburg.

The city has a railway station, a bus station, and customs warehouses. A customs terminal for cargo vehicles built to meet the requirements of the European standards also operates in Narva.

There are both free parking places for cars and guarded parking lots which are used for a fee.

5 km away from the city there is an aviation field without a surface, which can receive small planes and helicopters. The nearest commercial airports are situated in Tallinn (212 km away) and Saint Petersburg (150 km away).
